Web Application Developer and Data Support Analyst

Starting Salary: 
$55,000-$58,000

What You'll Do: 

  • Design, develop, test, and document web applications based on user needs.
  • Full stack web development, primarily using the Microsoft ASP.NET Core.NET 6 web-development framework and related components.
  • Code advanced functionalities using Microsoft C# as well as standard web coding.
  • Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio and GitHub for source code development and control.
  • Design, develop, test, and document nonweb applications primarily using PowerShell, Python, and C#.
  • Analyze and resolve production issues or established processes and recommend improvements to existing code as needed.
  • Acquire, secure, transform, and optimize data from governments and other sources for use on audits and reviews.
  • Develop and/or design Office trainings.

What You'll Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar IT-related major.
  • Experience with website development tools and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Razor, and Blazor.
  • Familiarity with basic productivity software, database development and management (SQL), and coding CCH, Python, R, and PowerShell is preferred.
  • Strong interest in public service and improving State government.
  • Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring others in technical matters.
