Business Intelligence Solutions Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, UT or Boise, ID

(J-U-B) is “Helping Each Other Create Better Communities.” We foster a teamwork environment to solve problems that improve society – while providing employees growth opportunities. We are recruiting an Information Systems Business Intelligence Solutions Analyst, who enjoys the challenge of diving into complex business problems.  This position will manage data retrieval and analysis within J-U-B, including organizing data points, communicating between upper management/IT, and analyzing data to determine needs.

 

·        Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for J-U-B.

·        Work closely with others to drive the solutions needed.

·        Craft business intelligence tools and reports.

·        Design, code, test, and deploy results from SQL queries to provide information to users.

·        Create technical documents and video training materials to document processes and other database contents, concepts, user manuals for the organization, and mapping between databases. 

·        Identify data needs and driving data quality improvement projects.

·        Identify the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations for efficiency and profitability.

·        Ability to translate business needs to technical specifications.

 

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent.

·        CBAP certification is a plus.

·        5+ years in the BI industry is preferred.

·        Demonstrated knowledge of Business Intelligence, BusinessObjects.

·        Experience data mining and optimizing database query performance.

·        Extensive understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software data manipulation and reporting.

·        API development between SaaS platforms.

·        Programming experience to extract, transform and clean data sets.

·        SQL and python skills (SSRS, SSIS, SQL).

·        Microsoft Power Automate, Power App and Power BI skills

·        Microsoft SharePoint and Teams automation and development.

·        Extensive experience with Database Management and reporting.

·        Ability to work both as a team and independently.

·        Knowledge of appropriate business technological policies.

Salary: $85,000-100,000 a year/Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
