Tutor Work Study

Purpose of the Position: The Tutor will be responsible for assisting the Native American Student Center in providing student tutoring supporting in varied subject matters.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong background in one or more of the following subjects; math, biology, chemistry and english. Students need to demonstrate passing grades/successful completion of said courses. Computer experience such as: Microsoft Office, excel and other academic software; Experience and/or familiarity in working with Tribes and/or tribal programs; Customer service skills.

Essential job function: The Tutor will assist with providing student communication, one on one and online tutoring, record keeping, and reporting. Tasks may also include office management duties such has greetings guests, answering phones, and filing.
