Assistant AD Marketing and Promotions

 
 
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking an
               Assistant AD Marketing and Promotions
Intercollegiate Athletics
 
This position will coordinate and manage athletic department media and advertising buys and non-athletic event media plans, along with market analysis and promotions. Oversee the website athletic department for the arena. This position will handle social media main pages and will monitor all social media activity. This person will be responsible for game-day scripts and will be responsible for game-day atmosphere.
Initiates all media buys for the Arena events with plan direction from the Director of Event Services. Meet with all media reps and gather station ratings and qualitative information. Places all media buys. Coordinates and manages all media related promotions included with event media buys. Handles all trade publications reporting and ad placement. Coordinates media opportunities including print, TV, radio, and outdoor billboards in the Omaha market as well as secondary markets.
Work Schedule:               Varies
Salary Information:          $48,500 - $52,000/year
 
Required Education and Experience:    
·        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related
·        2 years minimum experience in marketing
Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
