Nuclear Fuels CO-OP

Description - External
Constellation is currently seeking highly motivated nuclear engineering students for a Co-Op opportunity within its Nuclear Fuels department. Co-Op students will be competitively compensated and may be placed on-track for a longer term career opportunity with Constellation.

As an engineering Co-Op, you will be responsible for assisting engineers in providing support for the largest fleet of nuclear reactors in the United States. In particular, this opportunity within Nuclear Fuels is associated with developing new methods to more efficiently and cost-effectively design new reactor cores and ensure their operation at the highest levels of safety.

A successful candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter, well-versed in computer software (e.g. Microsoft Office, programming languages, and operating environments such as LINUX).

Qualifications - External
•Minimum GPA of 3.0
•A track record of outstanding academic performance
•Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
•Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
•Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
•Must be 18 years old by May 1, 2022
•Must have reliable transportation
•Must be able to pass a full background check and drug screening
•Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's program in Nuclear Engineering
