2024 - Supply Chain Internship/Co-Op

Interning with us:

Carnegie Robotics seeks outstanding students for our internship. We view internships as excellent opportunities for us to learn about future potential full-time hires while also contributing to students' education and their understanding of work practices in a professional setting. Many of our interns return annually and take on ever more challenging tasks. Please note this is a full time, on site position.

For this position, we are looking for college freshman, sophomores,  juniors, or seniors.  In all cases we expect to see excellent grades, work ethic and a strong desire to accomplish goals.

Our Supply Chain team is vital to the everyday work and operations of Carnegie Robotics, and requires an interdisciplinary approach to provide our teams with high quality products in a timely manner for the company to manufacture camera and sensor systems, as well as enable the cutting edge engineer work we produce.  You will assist with the following:

  • Collaborate with engineers and other staff members to source material
  • Utilize ERP system to manage procurement and inventory processes
  • Interface directly with vendors to support operational objectives
  • Execute purchase orders based on Production and Engineering requirements
  • Assist with price and lead time negotiations
  • Support expedite efforts to meet on-time delivery

Successful candidates will be creative, problem-solvers, extremely detail oriented, and organized.  

As part of this experience, you will also have the opportunity to engage with other interns and professional staff members throughout the company, gaining real world experience, and contributing to vital work in the robotics industry.  

Hourly wage range is based on education and experience
