Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC 2024 Summer Internship Program

Job Information

Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC is seeking technical and business interns for the 2024 summer semester. As an Idaho Environmental Coalition intern, you will be assigned a mentor who is a professional in your field of study. Your mentor will provide you with meaningful work and direction for your specific responsibilities. You will also be introduced to alternatives that exist in the workplace for your major and gain hands on experience that will help you to connect what you have learned in the classroom with the needs and expectations of a real job. Our internships are competitive, and preference is given to students who have completed at least their sophomore year.

Examples of majors include but are not limited to the following disciplines.

Engineering – chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, fire protection, mechanical, nuclear, quality assurance, safety engineers 

Science – biology, chemistry, geology, physics, radiation protection, health physics, industrial hygiene, occupational safety and health

Business – accounting, business management, communications/journalism, economic development, human resources, procurement, technical writing, training

Operations – emergency preparedness, project management, property management, supply chain management

Information Technology – IT management, computer information systems, computer science, database maintenance, network telecommunications, server operations

Eligibility Criteria

All interns must meet all of the following eligibility requirements.

• Full-time student status with good academic standing at an accredited college or university studying a discipline related to the Idaho Environmental Coalition mission; preference will be given to candidates who have completed their sophomore year.

• Recommendation by an academic advisor for an internship that links career goals and educational interests and abilities with the needs of Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC

• U.S. citizenship

• At least 18 years of age

• Ability to pass a background check

• Must apply before midnight of February 18, 2024

Hourly Rate:  $17.61

Hourly Benefits Stipend:  $4.60

Anticipated Start Date: May 13, 2024
