Vice President of Student Services

Olympic College is dedicated to the enrichment of our diverse communities through quality education and support to assist students to achieve their educational goals. Olympic College is a public two-year community college that educates more than 13,000 students a year. Founded in 1946, the college has three campuses in Bremerton, Poulsbo, and Shelton and serves a population of 280,000 residents living in Kitsap and Mason Counties. The Olympic College Foundation supports these efforts by providing resources for the College and its students to ensure that students excel and turn their educational dreams into reality!

The College is located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, on the Olympic Peninsula in Bremerton Washington. The main campus is an hour ferry ride across the Puget Sound from Seattle.


About the position

Olympic College seeks a leader with the foresight, drive and initiative to remove/reduce equity gaps to drive cultural change aimed at removing structural barriers to student success. Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Student Services is the College's chief student affairs officer, a member of the President's Executive Team, and is ultimately responsible for ensuring Student Services are aligned with student needs and seamlessly integrated with our instructional programs. The Vice President, in collaboration with their teams, strategically develop and implement plans and initiatives that focus on the creation of a holistic student experience from recruitment to graduation. The Vice President will work to further division and college goals while seamlessly integrating Student Services' programs with Instructional programs. The Vice President will provide college-level support and leadership for developing Guided Pathways under our Achieving the Dream framework, and implement effective strategies and performance measures to improve and sustain student completion results. The Vice President of Student Services will embrace and promote a philosophy within the division to create and foster a culture of teamwork and support as a part of the broader college culture. Further, the Vice President will foster strong relationships within the local community, encouraging creative partnerships to benefit our students and the community.
