Software Engineer- Computational Mathematics and Mechanics

You will be researching, prototyping, and implementing cutting-edge analysis methods and algorithms for our continuous fiber 3d printing process. This includes developing tool-pathing, physical analysis, and robotic motion planning tools. You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and testing simulations for our process.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
·        Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Mathematics, Computational Mechanics, Physics, or related discipline.
·        Strong experience with numerical methods.
·        Strong experience with developing computational solutions for physical problems.
·        Proven track record conducting independent research and integrating findings with others towards a common solution.
·        Thrive in a collaborative, multi-discipline environment and can clearly communicate across many teams.
·        Strong desire to work for an early stage startup company on disruptive technologies and make it a success.

DESIRABLE
·        Demonstrated design of unique approaches to numerical physical analysis.
·        Experience with creating and implementing advanced algorithms in commercial CAD, CAM, or FEA applications.
·        Familiarity with computational geometric concepts.
·        Familiarity with various numerical solvers.
·        Experience with C++ (with fair knowledge of modern C++ practices a plus).
·        Strong Object-Oriented Programming experience.
·        Familiarity with robot kinematic solvers and methods.
