Hardware Design Engineer position with Denso North America

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/GOALS:
1) What is the new associate expected to do?
·    Electronic Design Engineer responsible tor defining electronic hardware for Automotive Industry.
·    Analyze and adhere to Internal & external specifications, requirements, regulations and industry standards.
·    Perform detail analog & digital circuit design utilizing CAD software, create drawings and confirm design.
·    Conduct worst case analysis & design FMEA to assess the hardware functionality and continuously improve it (utilize Mathoad and Psplce simulation tools to confirm design).
·    Prepare & release the schematic design & other relevant drawings to meet customer requirements.
·    Develop Product DFMEA and/or DRBFM and other engineering specific information.
·    Conduct feasibility studies regarding new electronic components.
·    Create Product testing requirements (e.g. EMC, functional), analyze the results & Improve the design.
·    Work with PCB designers to optimize layout to meet Internal & external Electrical and EMC requirements.
·    Work with manufacturing plant to develop comprehensive test plan
·    Self-learner, ability to operate & perform with limited direction.
·    Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to apply high quality standards to own work
·    Monitor progress & complete goals according to project schedule.
·    Release Engineering Change based upon internal & customer requests.
·    Support development of the supply base for prototype and mass production parts.
·    Become FuSa (Functional Safety) specialist and support FuSa activity.
