We are looking for full time, creative and up-beat veterinarians to join 2018’s Best Animal Hospital in Virginia Beach (and quite possibly the world). If you’re interested in dinner cruises, going to the movies, grabbing an adult beverage after work, going to adult arcades, or making fun videos like the “Harlem Shake” or “All I Want for Christmas is You,” then you’ve found the right spot!
Our busy, fast paced practice sees nearly all companion pets in a low stress handling environment. We see cats, dogs, reptiles, avians, pocket pets, other exotics, and an occasional pig or two. Dr Robin Knopp, our very own Veterinary “Captain America,” leads our hospital with his more than 25 years of experience. Our team is like “The Avengers” of veterinary medicine, with 4 LVT’s and a support staff who are trained in all areas, working together to make a difference in the lives of the pets in our community.
Abbey Animal Hospital is located in the heart of Virginia Beach, situated between the beautiful Historic Williamsburg, and the pristine beaches of North Carolina’s Outer Banks. A recent complete hospital remodel has given us an over 6,000 square foot, state of the art facility, kIck-ass surgical and dental suites, a spacious lobby to accommodate the more than 14,000 patients we see annually, and an expansive treatment area that gives us ample space to work with several patients at the same time.
In addition to scheduled wellness exams and preventative care, Abbey Animal Hospital offers a wide range of general and specialized surgeries, and provides urgent/emergency care during our normal hours of operation, as well as walk-ins.
If you hate being mentored, having colleagues to consult with, or practicing the highest quality of veterinary medicine, then this is definitely not the practice for you.
