Mindsource is currently looking for Graphic Designer role in Sunnyvale, CA.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Graphic Designer with expertise in Photoshop for website production.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the interactive space and its production requirements including resolution and outputs.
In addition, candidates must be detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple servers, organized, undaunted by working under tight deadlines, and have a keen eye for image quality.
You will be working onsite with us at one of the world's leading tech companies.
Responsibilities:
- Structure Photoshop comps to optimize efficient production design and localization workflows using slices, smart objects, and layer comps
- Track and check in web graphics using a version control system
- Work closely with producers, traffic, creative, publishing, and international teams to meet project goals and ensure efficient file handoffs for localization
- Review final webpages and HTML email with an exacting eye, ensuring that graphics and layouts are flawless
- Support training of newer team members
Qualifications:
- Photoshop expertise, particularly setting up files for web production and adhering to graphic design standards
- Excellent design and typography sensibilities applicable to web pages and HTML email
- Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge
- 2-5 years of experience in a hands-on, high-volume web or HTML email design and publishing environment (or equivalent)
- Highly detail oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel
- Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplace
- Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Establishes rapport and collaborates easily with designers and web developers
- Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and checkin process, while also identifying opportunities for improvement
