Admissions Representative

We are seeking a thoughtful, innovative, enthusiastic, and student-focused professional to join our team as a full-time Admissions Representative. Position Summary:
This position develops and implements a comprehensive recruitment plan that aligns with the strategic enrollment plan by attracting and enrolling a diverse student body. Coordinate recruitment events and activities to build a diverse recruitment pipeline that meets the college enrollment goals. This position primarily focuses on recruiting traditional prospective students ages 16 – 24.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following duties are typical for this position. Position may support or lead functions relative to the essential duties listed below. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.
·        Recruit students and provide support for inquiries and applicants as they progress through the admissions process. Maintain accurate records, follow-up and provide recruitment information to prospective students. Provide service excellence to prospective and admitted students via email, phone calls, text, etc. to move students to enrolled status.
·        Strategically use the CRM system to organize and facilitate recruitment efforts, tracking all communications and recruitment activities. Utilize the CRM to make data-driven decisions in an effort to build, implement, and enhance the evolving recruitment plan.
·        Coordinate and manage the recruitment budget.
·        Lead, create and implement recruitment events and activities that align with the strategic enrollment plan. Conduct ongoing evaluation of recruitment efforts and make continuous improvements based on results.
 
·        Regularly review enrollment data, conversion, and yield rates and evaluate data to determine strengths and areas of need. Assist in identifying, communicating, and implementing vital recruitment strategies targeting diverse populations, in an effort to enhance and grow the College’s enrollment.
·        Collaborate with district schools to provide assistance to students looking to transition to post-secondary education. Assist the Dual Credit Coordinator with School to Career Consortium meetings and Career Prep events.
·        Serve as International Student Coordinator and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Designated School Official (DSO) in order to articulate the admissions processes to International students and properly enter student and college information into Student and Exchange Visitor Program System (SEVIS) each semester.
·        Maintain knowledge of current programs, services, and policies of Nicolet College, the WTCS, career trends and initial assessment tools, and the admissions profession. Provide College and career pathways information, exploration, and assessment opportunities to individuals, groups, or in a classroom setting.
·        Attend appropriate state-called meetings and professional development activities.
 
Required Qualifications:
·        Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
·        Possession of a valid driver license.
·        Ability to work collaboratively in teams to plan and coordinate activities and implement comprehensive programs.
·        Ability to communicate effectively through attentive listening and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·        High degree of creativity, independent judgment and enthusiasm for students.
·        Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.
·        Ability to use discretion when handling sensitive information and situations.
·        Ability to learn and navigate a variety of technologies to support strategic enrollment management.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.
·        Master's Degree.
·        Experience in recruiting or sales position and/or experience in post-secondary setting.
·        Experience with CRM and/or Student Information System.
·        Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures.
 
Physical Demands:

·        The individual will be based at the Rhinelander Campus and will travel to other locations, with variable hours that may include activities that take place during the day, evening, or on weekends. Occasional overnight travel is required.
·        The employee must demonstrate strong attention to detail and must be able to perform complex tasks without error.
·        While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to normal office conditions and usual office equipment such as telephone, personal computer, printers/copiers, reports and files.
·        The employee will be constantly required to sit, talk, hear, and type/write.
·        The employee will be frequently required to stand, walk, touch/handle/grasp (using hands and fingers), and reach with hands and arms.
·        The employee must occasionally bend or squat and lift and/or push up to 10 pounds of general office items.
·        Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, far, and field of vision.
·        This position requires regular and punctual employee presence.
 
Compensation:
The full pay range is $22.05 to $29.19 per hour. The typical starting range is $22.05 to $23.84 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
