POSITION BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION SPECIALIST – DISTRICT-WIDE - 2 Positions, 1.0 FTE
STARTING DATE August 21, 2019
Certified staff new to the District will have two additional paid days of training beginning August 19, 2019.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist staff and building intervention teams with programs for students with social/emotional needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordinating Mandt System of Managing People trainings; provide Mandt trainings to staff; maintain positive relationships with students, families, and staff; assist in coordinating staff development events, serve as a liaison amongst the various buildings facilitating timely information flow; assist with consistent implementation of of a problem solving and data collection process; participate in school or agency conferences when appropriate; and attending evening functions providing information to parents or the public as needed.
