Jr. High Science Teacher

The Wilson School District is looking for a highly qualified and certified 6th Grade Jr. High Science Teacher to teach for the upcoming 2019-2020 School Year. College graduates, Student Teachers and Teacher Interns are always encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive hiring salary.  Our hiring salary is $42,904.00 to $43,904.00 per year. Classroom Site Fund/Prop 301 (additional $2,904 is included), up to 10 years of Teacher experience. Teachers with the following education level can earn the additional salary: BA+15hrs ($1,140), BA+30 ($2,280), BA+45/MA ($3,420).  Other possible payment (if eligible) $3,000 for National Board Certified Teacher, $1,500 for BLE, $1,000 for ESL, $500 for Prov ESL.  In addition, salary increases will be given to Effective and Highly Effective staff based on their REIL scores. Once the score is received, the salary increase will be awarded in a lump sum.
