Position Summary
The HR Coordinator is an entry-level to early professional role that is responsible for providing administrative and technical human resources support to our clients (candidates, employees and managers) and one or more HR Centers of Excellence.

Role Description
  • Responsible for a variety of administrative duties and in support of one or more HR Centers of Excellence (COE) including Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning & Development and Employment policies. May include:
  • Talent Acquisition - Posting jobs, scheduling and coordinating interviews and travel, applicant screenings and onboarding activities.
  • Learning & Development – Scheduling and coordinating training
  • HRIS – Employment verifications, general system inquiries and support, maintenance, auditing and reporting. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Employment files.
  • Compensation – General process and program inquires and maintaining Job Description library.
  • Benefits – General process and system inquiries.
  • Payroll – General process and information inquiries to include responding to Unemployment claims.
  • Employment policies and practices – respond to general inquiries from employees and managers. May support with coordinating and sending employees communications.
  • Act as first point of contact for inquiries into HR from internal and external clients by providing a high level of professionalism and promptly responding in accordance with our service delivery model.
  • Responsible for data entry, verification, managing workflow, auditing, reporting within our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday and our intranet platform (SharePoint) to ensure highest level of data integrity.
  • Centers of Excellence by assessing inquiries, process flows and systems.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement efforts in partnership with the HR
  • Administration and maintenance of assigned programs or projects in support of assigned COE.
  • May serve as project coordinator for HR projects and programs including task list tracking, meeting minutes, action item distribution, and status reports.
  • May assist in coordination of HR Team events, off-sites, meetings, lunches as part of the HR Team.
  • Other tasks include supporting required COE filings and compliance, COE vendor records, and performing other special projects as determined by the COE leader.
  • Handles all matters with the highest level of professionalism while working comfortably in fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

 

Qualifications

 
Role Competencies

  • Two Years Post High School Education preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office: MS Word, PPT Outlook, Excel. 
  • HRIS systems to include applicant tracking system knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment and demonstrated ability and comfort in handling confidential matters. 
  • 2-3 years demonstrated success in customer facing role. 
  • Prior experience in HR support is a plus.
  • Superior customer relations, service delivery skills, and understanding of “owning the client service relationship”.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail within a rapidly changing environment. 
  • Ability to observe and execute on areas for process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines, and consistently maintain a professional demeanor. 
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers essential to success.
  • Effective cross department collaboration and team player
  • Handles all matters with utmost attention to confidentiality and highest level of professionalism while working comfortably in high paced and dynamic environment.
