Coordinator
New Student and Family Programs

The Coordinator for New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) will be primarily responsible for the development, administration, and implementation of family events and programs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with a specific focus on supporting the success of current students and encouraging their families to connect to campus. This position will also work in support of orientation and the department of NSFP within the Division of Student Success. This position will assist with the coordination and implementation of in-person and online orientation programs. Under the supervision of the Director of NSFP, this position will assist with aspects of managing UNO’s welcome and visits center, Maverick Landing, including scheduling of and emergency on-call support for student staff student staff. This position will also assist with the supervision and training of 20+ student Ambassadors who aid with the facilitation of orientation and staff the Maverick Landing Mavigation Station. This position will conduct thorough assessments of orientation and family experiences. In collaboration with campus and faculty partners, this position will also develop and curate content for the Maverick Family Newsletter.

Required Qualifications:
·        Bachelor’s Degree
·        CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification during probationary period.
 
Salary Information: $40,000-$45,000/year
