Position Summary

The Democratic Attorneys General Association is looking for a full time Senior Graphic Designer/Digital Content Creator to help manage the committee's creative content and produce a range of visual communication. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, promoting Democratic ideals, and Democratic Attorneys General.
 
The Senior Graphic Designer should be comfortable working with an established brand guide and look to advance and improve the visual footprint of the committee. Daily projects will include collaborating with various Department heads to create compelling digital content for emails, social media, online advertising, merchandise, special event materials, and other projects. Projects will include the development of static and animated graphics, as well as some video editing assignments.
 
All projects are geared towards electing, supporting, and educating the American people about Democratic Attorneys General.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Create and deliver inspiring, visually engaging digital content that drives response for email, social media, online ads, and other platforms
·      Coordinate with political and communications team to develop templates and best practices for DAGA
·      Work with DAGA team to maintain and develop DAGA branding
·      Synthesize complex information into simple, impactful messaging and design
·      Participate in brainstorms and planning meetings with an eye toward surfacing new and creative ways to communicate our message
·      Think outside the box to produce digital content that stands out online and drives response
·      Work with the Director of Communications and other principals to develop and distribute creative content
·      Collaborate with departments and staff across DAGA to accomplish duties and responsibilities
·      Support events and special assignments not specifically stated above
·      Other projects as assigned for special events and rapid response moments

Qualifications:

·      Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects or Animate
·      Experience building HTML5 graphics, animations and editing videos
·      2-5 years of experience within an agency, organization or campaign (political experience is not required)
·      Strong attention to detail and compliance
·      Excellent organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
·      Proven ability to perform well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines and objectives
·      Are committed to electing and supporting Democratic Attorneys General
