Sales Associate (Austin, Texas)

Position Mission:
Your mission is to drive sales activities in Central Texas. You will be responsible for building sales, awareness, and loyalty of Stego products to the design community and construction industry.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee territory with a business manager mindset—focus on profit margin to ensure territory goals are met 
  • Develop consultative relationships with architects, specifiers, engineers, builders, general contractors, concrete contractors, distributors, and owners to educate them on the benefits of Stego product lines
  • Collaborate with design professionals to develop specifications
  • Conduct educational seminars, including AIA CEU courses with target audiences
  • Utilize CRM to document sales efforts and to maximize efficiency

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter and driven to succeed in assigned territory
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and time management skills
  • Must display architectural specification and consultative selling skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Willing to travel within designated territory—overnight travel is required

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
