Content Creator

Shift Markets provides enterprise-level technology to clients entering the cryptocurrency space. Shift’s exchange product provides a turnkey solution including a front-end trading platform, back office, order management system and liquidity. We are seeking a talented Content Creator to join our quickly growing team in our New York City headquarters. We would like to fill this position as soon as possible. It is required that the individual in this role start with an in-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency or blockchain technology and experience writing about it.

The Content Creator’s primary responsibility will be to write original content for all of SHIFT’s platforms, including our website, blog, and social media. It’s essential the person in this role is able to jump right in to focus on writing informative, educational, and entertaining content about cryptocurrency and blockchain as it relates to our company. The ideal candidate has experience developing overall content strategies and has the ability to write persuasive content.

• Create content that draws attention to the company

• Ensure consistency of brand across all platforms

• Develop content to enhance our brand identity

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategy

• Work the sales team to write content that attracts, develops, and retains clients

• Assist with online marketing by drafting press releases and emails

• Draft internal communications when relevant

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Able to manage multiple projects at once

• Excels in a fast-paced and unstructured environment

• A strong writer with superior spelling and grammar

• Has mastered the use of tone to communicate ideas

• Transitions easily from creative to strategic thinking

• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency or blockchain technology

• Ability to write persuasive content is ideal

• Familiarity with online marketing is a plus

• Experience writing about cryptocurrency or blockchain technology

• Experience with content strategy is strongly preferred

• Bachelor’s degree

This is a full-time, on-site position in our New York City headquarters.
