Manager Trainee
EGT Montana Grain Elevators is looking for a collaborative, results oriented candidate with strong critical thinking and communication skills. Candidate must be willing to relocate for career development and growth opportunities. Positions require a Bachelor’s degree from a four year accredited college or university and a desire to build a career in the food and agribusiness industry. During the training program, you will receive cross functional exposure to a number of business units while performing various commercial (e.g. commodity merchandising, etc.) and/or operational (e.g. grain elevator operations, engineering, etc.) functions. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation in all aspects of commercial and/or operational processes.
Location Carter, Montana just outside of Great Falls, MT.
Essential Functions:
- Participate fully in the day to day operation of a EGT facility
- Become familiar with the fundamentals of domestic and international cash grain trading
- Develop a thorough understanding of elevator and/or grain plant operations
- Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, coaches, or program manager
- Travel to other EGT locations for instructional purposes
- Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing crop, market, and operational conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively with EGT internal and external customers
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four year accredited college or university
