Therapist, In Home
Travel to Warren and Van Buren counties to provide in-home therapy for women and their children under the age of 2.
- Receive training and certification in models specific for perinatal depression/anxiety and caregiver/child bonding and attachment.
- Conduct clinical assessments to develop treatment goals and objectives.
- Make diagnostic impressions and develop care plans to support client goals and objectives.
- Implement evidenced based interventions for perinatal depression/anxiety and caregiver/child bonding and attachment to support clients in obtaining goals identified in care plan.
- Routinely monitor and review clients’ progress towards goals and modify care plan as needed.
- As needed, assist clients in the developing a crisis plan while following the crisis process.
- Meet all required deadlines for documentation for both billing and grant requirements;
- Attend all required meetings and trainings.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity in working with women and families from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:
-Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy or related field
-At least one year of experience providing direct counseling or therapy
-Excellent therapeutic, written, verbal, and collaborative skills
-A highly accountable, mature professional who listens actively and leads
-Self-motivated individual who can set and meet simultaneous short and long term performance
-Desire to be a part of a proven leader in the world of behavioral healthcare
- Experience providing services in home is highly preferred
- Experience in dyadic work as it relates to parent/caregiver and their children
