Business Systems Analyst

Johnson County is currently seeking an experienced and driven professional to join the Information Technology team as our Business Systems Analyst. The BSA will generally:

·        Collaborate with business users, technical staff and vendors to identify current business solutions that would benefit from technology-based alternatives

·        Identify business or technology needs common to multiple departments to leverage resources more effectively

·        Promote solutions which lead to improved efficiencies and support green initiatives

·        Make recommendations which include analysis, requirements and path forward

·        Follow adopted recommendations through to implementation and user acceptance

Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field AND four (4) years of work experience in Information Technology to include two (2) years of experience in business systems analysis OR any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is required.
