Organizational Development Coordinator

The Agency of Transportation (VTrans) is seeking to hire an Organizational Development Coordinator. This position will develop and/or support programming to increase employee development, engagement and retention in addition to generating, analyzing and tracking data to provide information on participant trends and compliance. The incumbent will be responsible for development, implementation, evaluation and administration of integrated models of professional development that complement and coordinate with the workforce development programs. In addition, the incumbent leads and owns collection, analysis, and reporting of data providing recommendations based on analysis for all trainings and performance metrics at the VTrans Training Center (VTTC) which has significant impact on VTrans' training strategy. By offering learning sessions, aligning existing programs, doing needs and data analysis, incumbent ensures quality programming at the VTTC, acquisition of best practices, and keeps VTTC up to date with new learning trends. By analyzing data and tracking VTTC's performance, supporting strategic organizational development, and steering workforce development, incumbent's work highly aligns with VTrans' Mission: Promote organizational excellence by attracting, developing, and retaining a talented, diverse, and engaged workforce.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in one or more of the following: adult learning, education, organizational development, leadership development, and/or public administration; AND one (1) year or more experience that includes any combination of the following: training or staff development, teaching or facilitating programs for adults, providing consulting services to an organization, or conducting needs assessments to identify training needs and gaps.
OR
Bachelor's degree in one or more of the following: adult learning, education, organizational development, leadership development, and/or public administration; AND two (2) years or more experience that includes any combination of the following: training or staff development, teaching or facilitating programs for adults, providing consulting services to an organization, or conducting needs assessments to identify training needs and gaps.
