Interpretation and Education Intern
The intern will communicate with the public and educational groups about the natural and cultural resources of Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve (CRMO), staff the visitor center and provide orientation and information about CRMO and the National Park Service including recreational opportunities and park regulations, and provide educational programs to students focusing on the significance of volcanic resources at CRMO. This will include leading guided cave walks and hikes, giving formal presentations, and roving trails. Training is provided to learn interpretive/educational techniques and methods. Time is also provided to research and compile the content for each interpretive and educational program with the help of a mentor and supervisor.
