Communications/Media Internship (Corporate)

Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Communications/Media Intern for the summer of 2020.
This internship will be responsible for building a visual asset library company-wide that can scale with and grow within the company. In addition to produce dynamic search function results. This position will be working closely with the IFG Communications team to develop SOPs for employees to upload many different types of content into this library.
Essential Functions:
• Study, analyze and advise on organizing, labeling, tagging library assets
• Aid in developing visual (and video) media about our industry and IFG
• Assist with graphic content including tv’s, flyers, newsletter, yearbook design and production
• Assist in creating new videos and media
• Present a workable structure built for our visual assets.
• Define the system and policy for company-wide access (adding or finding assets).
• Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or have recently graduated with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Communication, Design, Computer Science, Business, Marketing
• Must be a rising sophomore or higher, minimum GPA of 3.0
• Understanding and experience with visual media, marketing
• Microsoft savvy - OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Publisher, Flow
• Have own housing and transportation, none will be provided

Physical Requirements:
Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement. Sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull, maintain balance, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distances, and climb stairs. Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, vibrations and airborne particles (sawdust).
