Our future Accounting Services Manager will possess the following qualifications and qualities –

·        Demonstrates skills that qualify you as a payroll and bookkeeping wizard.
·        Knows QuickBooks online/desktop forwards and backwards.
·        Can sleuth accounting errors with ease and loves to solve puzzles.
·        Loves to learn new skills and actively seeks out professional development.
·        Doesn’t shy away from asking questions or being on a client’s speed dial to answer their questions.
·        Considers integrity, personal accountability, and confidentiality essential elements to do their job well.
·        Is self-motivated and manages projects and timelines in a way that is envy worthy.
·        Will take initiative to identify, and be the champion of, improvements in their job.

·        Communicates well, loves feedback, and isn’t afraid to teach or be taught.
·        You have an associate’s degree and more than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll.

The job…
Manages all aspects of the Firm’s payroll, bookkeeping, and client support services department including –

·        Prepare and file timely sales and use tax reports, federal and state payroll reports, and annual informational filings.
·        Administer and process payroll for clients, maintain client employee records, and ensure timely and accurate scheduled deposits.
·        Work closely with clients on general accounting needs including client site visits, as requested.
·        Oversee client’s books monthly and complete period close activities.
·        Identify accounting errors, research technical issues, and proactively resolve issues.
·        Support other firm staff including management of other accounting services personnel.
