Motion Graphics Fall Student Associate - MSG Entertainment

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is a leader in live entertainment experiences. The Company presents or hosts a broad array of events in its diverse collection of venues: New York’s Madison Square Garden, Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Beacon Theatre; and The Chicago Theatre. MSG Entertainment is also building a new state-of-the-art venue in Las Vegas, MSG Sphere at The Venetian, and has announced plans to build a second MSG Sphere in London, pending necessary approvals. EDUCATION: 
To be eligible to be a Student Associate, students must meet the following criteria:  
  • Undergraduate candidates with a class status of junior or above and graduate candidates are preferred  
  • Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment.  
  • College credit is based on individual school policy; it is not required for the program.  
  • Student Associates may work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week (35 hours required for the summer semester).  
  • GPA of 3.2 or above is required  

ROLE SUMMARY: 
As Motion Graphics Student Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with designers, copywriters and producers to create graphic packages to support digital content series, one off pieces and Out of Home marketing efforts. You will also assist brand experts to create quick-turnaround content to support the real time nature of the social marketing to support our entertainment brands. This role is for a driven and self-motivated individual eager to be immersed in the motion graphics space. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Work with designers, copywriters and producers to create graphic packages to support digital content series, one off pieces, and Out of Home marketing efforts 
  • Learn to work as a team in a fast paced, deadline driven environment 
  • Bring studio designer’s static designs to life through motion and enhanced design capabilities  
  • Support brand experts on quick-turnaround content for social marketing of our entertainment brands 
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically AfterEffects and Premiere 
  • Knowledge of Maya or other 3D rendering programs a plus 
  • Hard working, determined attitude 
  • Ability to work in teams  
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to multi-task 
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills  
  • High level of enthusiasm and professionalism  
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer 
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically AfterEffects and Premiere
