The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) has been developing innovative technologies and solutions for cutting-edge DoD and intelligence programs for almost six decades. Our expertise is in space and airborne IR, VIS, UV, and RF sensors, small satellite technologies, test and calibration, cybersecurity, data visualization and assurance, and ground stations. SDL is seeking a software test engineer. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and executing software test plans and procedures.

· Help develop and continually improve regression and acceptance tests including automated tests

· Test, investigate, and manage defects and discrepancies for software with and without a UI

· Participate on software development feature teams as a test representative

· Continually evaluate and help refine internal and external customer requirements

· Assist in the development of test strategies to meet the release schedule for multiple programs

· Assist in directing several student employees in the test and independent validation and verification process

· Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information

· B.S. in a related field and at least two years of experience in software testing or programming, OR seven years of experience in software testing or programming

· Working knowledge of Linux, Git, database

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and with team members

· Must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the US and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance

· Skill with one or more of the following: C++, Ruby, C#, Selenium/C#, CSS, Node.js, Confluence, Jira, BitBucket, VMware/VirtualBox, Zephyr, Jenkins, Visual Studio, SQL, PgAdmin

· Experience in an Agile software environment

· TS security clearance
