Full Time – R&D Engineering Project Leader - Bothell, WA or Cambridge, MA– 2020

Position can be in Boston or Seattle.

Are you interested in a FT opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree to apply for a FT opportunity at our site in Bothell, WA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in project management engineering for a HealthTech company.

In this role, you have the opportunity to
Learn about the many different aspects of Research and Development in project management engineering. This is one of the most challenging and exciting roles within engineering project management.

You are responsible for
Leads projects within a function under a larger program managed by a Program Manager.
Leads smaller efforts across business functions outside of a larger program.
Leads the project team in the overall project planning and execution, balancing scope, schedule and budget.
Establish strong operating mechanisms to track progress, identify issues and risks, overcome obstacles, and define recovery plans.
Chairs and coordinate the communication of project status to Program Managers, Functional Management and stakeholders.
Align with other project or program managers to identify dependencies and resolve conflicts.
Ensure functional deliverables are compliant to regulatory and the business unit quality system requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
•     Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, experience through internship or coop preferred
•         Experience in a technical field or project management role
•         Experience with medical device or other regulated industry
•         Experience in phase-gate new product introduction process
•         Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams

You will work as a full time team member of the Ultrasound organization and support new launches or adapt existing products to new needs or market demands. The work is related to all facets of the R&D engineering and project management discipline.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. Candidates need to live within the territory or within commuting distance to Bothell.
