Student Engineering Development Program - SEDP

Job Description
Avista’s Student Engineering Development Program offers a variety of opportunities for engineering students to enhance their field of study in the utility industry and to gain valuable work experience critical to their future success in the job market.
 
Avista’s engineering student opportunities are for summer employment, however special circumstances may allow for part-time work during the school year. The number of positions can vary from year to year and the number of available positions may be limited.
 
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be an undergraduate student attending a college or university full-time or planning to attend school full-time in the upcoming semester or quarter.
  • Undergraduate student enrolled full time in college earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in power-related courses, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork and project management skills are a plus.
Applications for the Student Engineering Development Program will be accepted until January 25, 2021. Selected candidates may be invited for virtual interviews held by the end of February.
