Municipal Engineer P.E.

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. in Meridian, Idaho (Corporate Headquarters) is looking to add further project engineering skill and talent through a Municipal Civil Engineer with several years of project engineering and design experience in water, sewer and other municipal utility projects. Our team has long-term, core clients who are developing interesting and challenging projects across Southern Idaho. At J-U-B, our purpose is “Helping Each Other Create Better Communities.” We have a family focused culture that fosters a teamwork environment, solving problems that improve society – all while providing employees with flexibility and growth opportunities.

·        Participation in all phases of project development, design and construction.

·        Analysis and interpretation of engineering data, creation of construction-ready plans and specifications, and sound decision making to solve challenges.

·        Collaboration with other engineers, planners and public agencies on projects. 

·        Collaboration with team members and sub-consultants for reports, design and construction phase services for various private and public agency projects.

·        Technical focus on project engineering, rather than project management, and design services to produce engineering studies, plans, specifications and cost estimates.

·        Bachelor degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering.

·        Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.).

·        2-6 years of experience as a P.E. with a focus on similar municipal projects.

·        Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel is preferred. 

·        Experience with hydraulic modeling and GIS is a plus.

·        Excellent communication and writing skills.
