Product Marketing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an assertive individual who will develop and execute technical and business strategies for our AC-DC power conversion IC product line. This position requires up to 25% travel (U.S. and international).

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Champion the growth and expansion of Power Integrations’ high voltage AC-DC power conversion ICs. 
• Providing direction and support to the sales force on new and current AC-DC products (including marketing communications, product training presentations, price list generation, and special pricing).
• Monitoring and driving key customer opportunities to ensure success.
• Interfacing with the Applications and Marcom groups to develop design collateral and promotional platforms.
• Understanding competitive product/technology threats to form defensive product strategies.
• Understanding customer/market requirements and opportunities for new products/packages through customer visits and providing information to the Strategic Marketing group.

REQUIREMENTS

• BSEE or similar engineering discipline
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, technical marketing or applications in AC-DC or DC-DC power conversion semiconductors or the design of AC-DC or DC-DC switching power supplies.  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including customer presentations.
