The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC is seeking Engineering Interns to assist in engineering tasks related to design, analysis, test, integration and process engineering. Opportunities vary from performing analysis on existing processes, the company’s Production Plan, Syrup Movement Plan and Granulated Sugar Plan. Interns will assist in testing, systems engineering, mission integration, quality assurance, system safety, and production operations.
Activities can include but are not limited to: data analysis, analysis methodology improvement projects, manufacturing improvement projects, creating or modifying tool designs, processing cause and corrective actions, maintain production work instructions, supplier management, and component or integrated systems testing. Internships may require travel to other Amalgamated Sugar locations.
Qualified candidates should be familiar with processing systems in a manufacturing environment, mass balances, and current engineering design practices.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Currently enrolled as a Junior, or higher, in a related engineering program (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) at a 4-year college or university.
