With that in mind, 

Picture yourself representing the WDFW agency as an expert in fish passage, bank protection and habitat restoration.

This is an opportunity to prepare professional engineering designs and permit documents for fish passage, bank protection, fish screening, and habitat restoration projects.

With your experience, you will provide expert engineering technical assistance to diverse teams involved in all aspects of aquatic habitat restoration work. 

The optimal candidate takes pride in their work, uses sound judgment on difficult environmental engineering problems, and can work collaboratively. 

We are seeking candidates with demonstrated skills representing WDFW values of professionalism, accountability, empathy, integrity, and respect.
 

We are recruiting to hire at the Environmental Engineer 2 or 3 level, and we will train a 2-level hire, up to the Environmental Engineer 3 level.
