This position is located in the Office of Policy and Communications with the Bureau of Healthcare Quality.
Strategize and coordinate the internal and external communication, customer outreach, awareness, and engagement for Healthcare Quality. Initiate and implement outreach requests and promote Healthcare Quality related causes and issues. Assist with media, legislative, and constituent inquiry responses for Healthcare Quality to ensure thorough, timely and accurate information is provided to internal and external customers. Research legislative and regulatory topics. Facilitate content management and update of Healthcare Quality related material on the DHEC website and other mediums. Ensure Healthcare Quality related material is up to date, relevant, and user friendly. Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities, as requested, and facilitate communication with the regulated community. Perform other duties as assigned.
