Environmental Scientist

The Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board in San Luis Obispo is hiring for an Environmental Scientist.
 
Join the Central Coast Water Board and help protect the Central Coast’s ocean, bays, wetlands, and creeks. The position involves applying environmental and watershed science in the Central Coast Water Board’s Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification Program. This program focuses on ensuring that transportation, development, infrastructure, flood control, and other projects are designed to accommodate and protect the Central Coast’s valuable waterbodies and watersheds. The position will also involve addressing watershed wildfire recovery and climate change adaptation.
 
The position is permanent, full-time, and year-round. The salary range is $3,851.00 - $7,364.00 per month.
