Internship 2022 - Operational Project Coordinator

                                         Job Summary
This position plays an integral part in the management of product innovation and product renovation projects. The Operational Project Coordinator Intern will interface with a variety of company departments such as Marketing, Research & Development, Legal & Regulatory, Engineering, Forecasting & Planning, Purchasing, Cost and Financial Accounting, Manufacturing, Quality, and Distribution, to help manage projects, manage timelines and communications, and successfully launch new products and product revisions.
 
                                                                 
                                                                      Duties and Responsibilities
Essential

  • Establish a multifunctional team for each project with communication plans for key stakeholders, to ensure success criteria and eventual launch is accomplished.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relations with project teams, business sponsors and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project team members to identify the business requirements for projects
  • Ensure excellence in planning and execution through the life of the project, including the creation of the project plan and timeline, and managing excellent communication throughout
  • Regularly monitor and assess the status and quality of projects, holding project team members accountable for timely completion of deliverables, enabling candid understanding of risks and opportunities within the cross-functional team, and elevating issues with key stakeholders for resolution
  •  Assist in managing the overall portfolio for assigned product brands

  • Completes special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Preference given to students currently in their junior or senior year of college, pursuing a degree in related field
  • Able to work in Idaho Falls, Idaho for your program dates of approximately 90 days
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher 
  • Detailed work and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and create solutions independently
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
  • Microsoft Office experience (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Project management experience preferred
