Communications Specialist - Oki Golf Management, Bellevue, WA

Oki Golf Management is looking for an innovative, detail-oriented and social media savvy Communications Specialist to facilitate and deliver all of our company external communications.

Here's what you'll do:

As the Oki Golf Management Communications Specialist, you are responsible for the facilitation and delivery of all of our company external communications. You will ensure all communications are distributed promptly while following our brand guidelines. Working with the Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, and Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for writing copy for various marketing materials and monitoring and reporting on our marketing campaigns and promotions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Write a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, website copy, and brochures and press releases

· Assist Marketing team in developing and implementing a communications strategy designed to further company objectives

· Work closely with Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer to create and deliver compelling email communications for various audiences, including newsletters, product surveys, and sales promotions.

· Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of marketing campaigns and strategies

· Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices

· Manage our social media accounts, review site profiles, and business listings reporting on their performance, and responding to comments and messages

· Perform outreach to press outlets, magazines, influencers and build strategic partnerships to grow brand notoriety

· Advise company Directors and Managers on improving or updating public image.

· Ensure all promotional materials are aligned with the company’s brand identity.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· 2 or more years of relevant experience, required

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Communications, Marketing, or another relevant field; Applicable backgrounds or majors: Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Consumer Behavior

· Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

· Must have a sharp eye for detail, copyediting skills, and a perfectionist’s drive to make every piece of communication look its best. Applicants with experience and aptitude for digital marketing will thrive in this role.

· Experience creating social media content for emerging media is a plus (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.)

· An analytical mind and ability to think critically

· Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Strong background using computers; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus

· Knowledge of email marketing software such as HubSpot or a similar program

· Proven knowledge of communications and marketing ethics and best practices

· Golf knowledge is not required but a plus!
