Enviromental Manager – TPS5

 

Washington State Department of Transportation’s I-405/SR 167 Megaprogram is seeking an Environmental Manager, who will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of mega design-build projects on the I-405/SR 167 corridors. As the Environmental Manager for the Megaprogram, this position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and communicating the long-term environmental vision for the program. This position will strategically manage the environmental policy, standards, procedures, and provide oversight of all environmental elements to ensure program’s construction, maintenance and operations activities comply with all federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations in a manner that is consistent with WSDOT’s mission and goals. This position will also manage the Megaprogram projects and environmental staff of 15-40 professionals (State and Consultants), as well as provide day-to-day management of professional and technical engineers to incorporate environmental protection and improvements to the Megaprogram transportation plans and facilities.
