Summer Internship - Fleet Services

Requisition Summary

PACCAR Parts has an exciting Fleet Services summer internship opening at our headquarters in Renton, WA. The selected candidate will work directly industry professionals, gaining exposure and experience in multiple departmental projects including Streamlining pricing strategies, refining data analytics processes for identifying sales and marketing opportunities and collaborating with the Materials Department on fleet managed fleet inventory and custom stocking initiatives.

  • Develop mentoring relationships with industry leaders
  • Gain valuable hands on experience



Job Functions / Responsibilities 

  • Support efforts to streamline standard fleet pricing strategies and market basket development, working closely with Fleet Services and PPD Pricing teams.
  • Refine data analytics processes for identifying fleet sales and marketing opportunities using resources like Servigistics, Tableau and SalesForce Marketing Cloud
  • Collaborate with Materials on managed fleet inventory and custom stocking initiatives
  • Assist with generating standard report(s) for specific fleet requests

Additional responsibilities include: 
 
  • Work with Fleet Coordinators to update market basket pricing, refresh fleet-specific ePortal pages and post announcements to dealers via e-mail and ePortal
  • Update and maintain dealer-facing announcements and information on ePortal
  • Refresh fleet location lists on SMART and ePortal to ensure outside sales people have accurate and current information
  • Fleet integration maintenance 
  • Support various management presentations, as needed
  • Support Multi Service-related initiatives



Qualifications

  • A strong career interest in Sales and Marketing
  • Relevant coursework or prior internship experience desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Self-motivation and energetic personality
  • Team-oriented
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong PC Skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite



Education

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Junior or senior standing preferred
