Environmental Engineer
The position is for Environmental Field Support. The employee will function as environmental regulatory multi-grade technical support at the Idaho National Laboratory, as a full-time employee working 4x10 hr days/wk through at least September 30, 2024. Duties include providing general environmental compliance support in all areas of environmental compliance including identification of regulatory requirements, review of work control documentation and implementation of environmental requirements, environmental regulatory issue evaluation and resolution, coordination with project, facility, Environmental Services management, Legal, DOE, and regulatory agencies related to complex regulatory issues and implementation. Performance of various assessments In support of environmental compliance assurance for the Environmental Services Organization, and other implementation activities supportive of ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Performs regulatory inspections. In addition, supports other areas of Idaho Environmental Coalition in technical review and implementation of other environmental regulatory requirements as needed.
