Legal Team Intern

The Role
We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, and hard-working Legal Team Intern to assist Lovevery’s Legal team on a variety of projects and tasks. The successful candidate will have exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work on high impact matters involving a variety of functional teams across the business.
This temporary role is based at Lovevery’s headquarters in Boise, Idaho and relocation is not available.
Responsibilities
In each case, with supervision and guidance from a Lovevery attorney:
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing a wide variety of commercial and other contracts across several functional teams, such as Accounting, Content, Marketing, Product, and Tech/Digital.
  • Research and analyze various issues and prepare written work product.
  • Help Lovevery’s Legal and Accounting/Finance teams with subsidiary management matters.
  • Assist Lovevery’s attorneys on key company issues.
  • Manage contract repository and contribute to improvements and best practices.
  • Perform ad hoc projects and other assignments, as requested.
About You
  • Entering your senior year of college with the expectation of applying to law school, entering law school in fall 2022, or completing your 1L year of law school in spring 2022.
  • Willing to commit to three months and 20+ hours per week during business hours.
  • Strong skills using MS Office products.
  • Outstanding analytical and writing skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize projects.
  • Attention to detail and superior organization.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion; respect for confidentiality.
  • Team player attitude; desire to learn.
