Responsibilities

  • Work closely with senior engineers on design, development & improvements to state-of-the-art cathodes, electrodes, pumping, gas delivery systems and chamber’s materials for wafer processing reactors
  • Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics/specifications of moderate scope
  • Perform engineering analysis; perform and document engineering tests
  • Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release
  • Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues
  • Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficultly
  • Implement concepts of moderate product issues and mechanical solutions
  • Design, develop and the implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with an appetite to grow a career in the semiconductor industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Masters or PhD preferred for key roles requiring advanced subject knowledge
  • Must be in good academic standing. Recommend a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
  • Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture
