Fashion Design Intern

Within each handmade JacPac product, we include the name of the seamstress who manufactured it while using sustainable products to ensure our environmental impact is limited. Division: JacPac - Social Impact Team
Work remotely: Yes, however this will require employees to have their own work space and tools. This also allows for them to create their own, flexible schedule, Monday through Friday!
Mission: To create a cottage style manufacturing hub that works with underprivileged members of our national community that will allow work from home opportunities. Creating innovative, good quality products that promote a fashionable lifestyle for customers.

Daily Responsibilities:
§ Assist with photoshoot and visual contents.
§ Working on product development and processing styles.
§ Confer with management or clients to discuss design ideas.
§ Establishing brand recognition through social media campaigns.
§ Engage in overall projects and technical designs.
§ Will work as a community event planner and an advocate for underserved and underprivileged future workers.
§ Provide sample garments to agents and sale representatives.
§ Test fabrics to ensure that garment care labels can be created.
Qualifications and Skills:
§ Must be an enrolled undergrad or graduate student.
§ Must be able or willing to operate a sewing machine, including making backstitches.
§ Must be an extrovert with passion for networking and outreaching.
§ Must be organized and detail oriented.
§ Must have their own tools and work space.
Education and Experience:
§ Pursuing bachelor’s degree in fashion, marketing or digital design is preferred.
