Test & Evaluation Specialist- GPS Task Lead

**On-Site Position on Ft. Huachuca, AZ Army Base**
**Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance through the DoD**

Ability to lead a team comprised of full-time and part-time staff. Task lead will work alongside Government counterparts to plan and execute testing operations using a variety of test equipment (i.e., Data Collection Suites, Radios, Antennas, and GPS etc.). Testing involves a mix of indoor and outdoor environments and requires on site presence to coordinate and run each event. This position will also involve night and weekend operations depending on test requirements. The Task Lead is responsible for preparing, and managing staff, funding, and scheduling of the test events. The Task lead will also ensure the successful and timely completion of the work.
Candidate will interact with other engineering groups to define test operational parameters, interpretation of test to meet the data collection requirements set forth by the government test officer. It is expected the candidate will identify functional and scheduling issues to meet timelines and suggest resolutions and assist in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
 
Familiar providing T&E engineering inputs into technical specifications, test plans, test procedures, and test reporting. Experience with leading test campaigns, planning, and execution for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) communication systems. Experience in providing T&E engineering inputs into technical specifications, test plans, test procedures, and test reporting. Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Contribute to expansion of current and future GPS and RF testing capabilities.
– The candidate will have knowledge of GNSS operations and protocols, Computer networks and RF waveform generation. Previous experience with Military radios and GPS systems is a plus.
– Prior experience engineering/ operating electronic warfare systems in support of field and laboratory testing. Experience conducting power consumption testing, temperature/vibration testing, GPS validation, Position NAV/Timing (PNT), on mounted and dismounted navigation systems.
– Certification in one or more of the following is desired: CompTIA Network+ or Security+, Microsoft Systems Engineer, or Cisco Certified Network Associate
– Prior experience working with SMDC, CCDC, TSMO, JNWC organizations is desired.
– GPS Surveying Certification is a plus.
– Previous GPS Interference and Navigation Tool (GIANT) knowledge/training is desired.
