Automation Marketing Co-op (Spring 2023)

The Conversational Marketing team is looking for a data-driven student to help HubSpot improve the chat experience on the website and in our product for visitors, prospects, users, and customers. Working closely with our website team, sales team, and product team, you will have the opportunity to envision, create, report on, and optimize conversational experiences. In particular, we are looking for someone to identify new opportunities for chat on the website and throughout the customer journey. This role sits on the Conversational & VSB Marketing team and reports to the Marketing Manager of Conversational Demand. This person will work closely with a variety of teams including Web Strategy, Marketing Technology, and our Inbound Success Coach team. 

This is a full-time (40 hours/wk) role that can be remote OR in office from Cambridge,MA.
The co-op position will run from January-June 2023.

In this role, you’ll get to:
  • Identify new areas and opportunities for chatbots on the website (www.hubspot.com) and design/launch chatbot experiments that create a great user experience for the customer journey
  • Work with the HubSpot conversations tool to create a great chat user experience Build internal relationships/partnerships with stakeholders to drive expansion and adoption of conversational marketing
  • Utilize data, research insights, feedback, and program reporting to continually optimize our conversational strategy
  • Own reporting on performance of experiments and conversational marketing program
  • Work closely with regional marketers to share best practices and learnings and collaborate on a Global strategy for chat
  • Align with our Inbound Success Coach team (live chat agents) to find the right balance between bot automation and human communication to delight our visitors

Requirements: 
  • Full-time availability only (40 hours/week), from January-June 2023
  • Ability to work autonomously and execute projects as instructed
  • Strong analysis skills and passion for the customer experience
 
Additional experience (a plus, but not required):
  • Familiarity with the function of live chat & chatbots
  • Copywriting experience
  • Experience using HubSpot
  • Reporting experience (Looker, Amplitude)
