  • The incumbent serves as a team member in the Application Support Branch within the Defense Automatic Addressing System (DAAS) in DLA Information Operations (J6).Serves as a business systems analyst, identifying and resolving application issues related to the use of one or more Automated Information Systems (AIS) within DAAS.Demonstrates ability to utilize and interpret the Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP), and the Military Standard Transaction Reporting and Accounting Procedures (MILSTRAP)Demonstrates ability to utilize and interpret the Defense Logistics Management Standards (DLMS), and the DAASC Micro Automated Routing System (DMARS).Serves as main touchpoint to customers to respond and resolve requests for support with various degrees of complexity.
  • Areas of support focus on systems management, infrastructure support, assigned Automated Information Systems (AIS) and production management.
  • Provides Information Technology (IT) support of one or more assigned AIS's, Centralized Customer Support, Information Center and/or Telecommunication Interfaces/Infrastructures.
  • Monitors/Processes DAAS exceptions and reject messages.
  • Answers telephone calls, responds to emails, monitors trouble ticket system, and takes appropriate action in support of internal and external customer's inquiries.
  • Maintains various application databases, workflow processes, communication with external systems, and associated web services.
  • Tracks and completes action items from internal and external project meetings and briefings.
