Community Based Supports

Positions Available in Lewiston, Moscow, and Grangeville

Summary To assist the participant to establish relationships with their peers, participate within their general community activities, and to identify activities of interest and identifying specific training activities necessary to assist the participant to continue to participate in such activities on an on-going basis. (Non-Exempt)
 
 Responsible To: President
 
Supervised By: Clinical Supervisor; Behavior Intervention Specialist
                                   
Positions Supervised: None
 
Professional Requirements:
 
1.               High school diploma or GED;
2.               Must be at least 18 years of age;
3.               Possess or be able to obtain HS certificate;
4.               Complete 12 hours each year of on-going training;
5.               Ability to communicate effectively in writing and conversation;
6.               First Aid and CPR certification is required to maintain employment in this position;
7.               Current driver’s license, car insurance and use of operable insured vehicle;
8.               Criminal history report and fingerprinting will be completed prior to employment. If the results of the investigation fail to meet the standards set by the Department of Health and Welfare, employment with OUI will be terminated immediately;
9.               Pass Pre-employment drug test and ongoing random tests.

Responsibilities and Duties: The essential functions are identified below. You must be able to perform the essential functions either with or without reasonable accommodations without posing a direct threat to yourself or others.
 
A.       Essential Duties:
1.               Complete 6 hours of shadowing prior to job delivery.
2.               Understand the needs and goals that are determined in the child’s plan.
3.               Implement CBS goals/ plan within the community;
4.               Be familiar with CBS IDAPA rules and conduct individual and or group HS sessions accordingly;
5.               Maintain concise billing on data sheet/progress notes and submit accurate timesheets;
6.               Write Monthly CBS Summary Reports and turn in to the Clinical Supervisor.
7.               Maintain positive professional relationships with participants, and their parents, guardians and any other significant others;
8.               Provide Emergency Backup Crisis
           
B.        Marginal/Other Job Functions:
1.     Demonstrate a positive professional image at all times;
2.     Provide transportation for participants as required;
3.     Other duties as assigned by the clinical supervisor.
