4-H AmeriCorps Youth Development Instructor - Latah County
Teach, lead, and facilitate youth development curriculum in STEAM-based out-of-school time programs.
- Facilitate family engagement events
- Serve as mentors and role models, teaching essential life skills, and giving youth positive opportunities to explore the world around them in fun, engaging non-formal learning environments
- Assists the Extension educator and office staff in organizing 4-H programs and events
- Works with county staff and afterschool program coordinator to conduct S.T.E.A.M. 4-H educational programming
- Communicate with staff and clientele about 4-H youth programs, fundraising events, and activities
- Arrange and participates in meetings and workshops
- Participate as a camp counselor
- Performs time management and scheduling functions, meet deadlines, and set project priorities

- Submit regular progress reports and evaluate programs according to instructions
